I have already told you about my live for working from cafes (great interior,
nice coffee,
I feel way more productive,
nobody bothers me)
and I do believe you are sharing some of that with me.
I could never understand though the concept of the comfort zone.
I am 24 years old now and I feel like I have actually never been in a comfort zone my entire life.
With the hardships me and my family had to overcome,
with the issues I have faced in the beginning of my career,
with all the struggles of being an immigrant (I moved to Finland 5.5 years ago alone pretty much knowing nothing about the country)
I have never actually felt completely safe and comfortable.
Telling me to get out of my comfort zone makes no sense -
I have never been in one.
This is an interesting thought that I have had lately,
because I think that those aspects of my life made me who I am today and you know what,
I’m starting to like the person I am just now.
I used to doubt myself,
but I’m the end of the day I can say with certainty nothing has ever been handed to me.
I really hope that even if you are just starting your journey in tech,
even you you are struggling,
you will be able to feel that feeling some day!
It feels great,
really!
