     How to get more out of meetings?
     Since I have spent the last 14 months in the industry,
     I wanted to share some tips on effective meetings at the workplace that are universally valid and not Tech-specific:
     🔸
     Being organised is key If you are organising the meeting,
     ensure that you have booked a room,
     invite only the people whom the topic is relevant to,
     and include an agenda on the meeting invite,
     so that people know what to expect and are aware of what you want to achieve.
     This saves a lot of time and makes everything easier for attendees.
     🔸
     Know your audience Prepare the content you want to discuss based on your audience.
     For example,
     if your meeting is with senior management,
     it would be a huge failure to show them long reports or give them low-level technical details about your project.
     Instead,
     try to prepare a visual chart or a table that tells a story and be concise.
     🔸
     Take notes Make sure to take notes during the meeting and document whatever you have learned from the attendees.
     This will assist you when it comes to defining the next steps and actions points.
     There are a lot of meeting note templates out there that could help you if you have no previous experience with this.
     🔸
     Keep it short Track the time spent during a meeting and try to keep it as short as possible (30-60 mins),
     because everyone is busy.
     You can be more productive with less time if you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve.

     Nearly reorganized everything.

     Do you know the feeling?
     You are sure that you worked on a similar problem once and solved it but you can’t find it on your laptop anymore?
     After working some time with the same laptop there is a huge amount of data you have to organize.
     •••
     🙈
     We produced so many documents and files.
     So we kind of overload our old organizing system.
     So we started a new one.
     We defined the names of documents.
     We defined the file structure of projects and so on.
     We also describe our commit with a system for the message.
     That’s a system which could work for 1000 projects.
     So no limits there anymore.

     It was actually a lot of work -
     but it is worth it because we can collaborate on projects way better.
     So very happy that we did it!

     you need to ask yourself what do you want to create?

     Every programming language is suited for a specific purpose.
     Some are better than others.

     Look into languages such as Java(android),
     Swift/Obj-C(iOS)
     or React Native ⚛️

     Want to create a game?
     It depends on the platform you want to target but languages like JavaScript,

     should interest you!

     Want to work with data/AI?
     Look at Languages like JavaScript,
     PHP,
     ruby &
     python!

     Want to deploy software?
     Languages like Java &

     are areas you may be interested in.
