you glow with a universe of color and you help others find their way,

Named after the explorer Ferdinand Magellan,
this small galaxy orbits the Milky Way from 200,000 light-years away.
It’s close enough that it’s visible to the unaided eye from the Southern Hemisphere.
In this composite image taken by three of our space telescopes,
X-rays from @nasachandraxray are shown in purple;
visible light from @nasahubble is colored red,
green and blue;
and infrared observations from our Spitzer Space Telescope are represented in red.
The Small Magellanic Cloud may be little,
but it dazzles.

Jupiter:
King of the planets 👑

Jupiter,
the largest planet orbiting the Sun,
contains more than twice the amount of material of all other objects in the solar system combined —
including all the planets,
moons,
asteroids and comets.
In composition,
the gas giant resembles a star,
and scientists estimate that if it had been at least 80 times more massive at its formation,
it could have become a type of star called a red dwarf rather than a planet.
