     Spent the morning working through some particularly cumbersome work issues.
     I ended up putting 5 Merge Requests for various issues as I got myself “in the zone”

     I love that feeling where everything is falling into place and your code is just working.
     It’s not something I feel very often mind you!

     Do you need a degree to be a successful #programmer !?

     Here is the thing,
     many people say you absolutely do not need it.

     It is definitely possible to do well without a degree,
     specially if you do a bootcamp.

     But,
     you have to understand that it will be very hard and that it takes time!

     With a college degree you will be able to take your time to learn and discover the areas you like.
     —

     You will be able to network with people,
     to build a portfolio.
     —
     And most importantly you will have internship opportunities and a credible degree.

     Guys,
     when coding,
     I always say we spend like 80%
     of the time thinking and only about 20%
     actually coding,
     but I think when you develop an app all by yourself I mean when you do frontend,
     backend,
     and even plan and manage the database,
     you spend even more time planning and thinking about the structures of your app.
     .

     .
     👨🏻‍💻
     Last night I spent some time redesigning the schemes for Squid Space since I haven't put much thought on the way users could subscribe to influencers content.
     So now a user will see a list of influencers on the app in which he will be able to request a subscription to a content creator,
     and this one will be able to accept or decline it.
     Now I only have to adjust stuff on the app side calling the GraphQl API to fetch this new data and design the UI for the list ;D .

     Eu costumo falar isso muito aqui,
     
     que quando estamos "programando"
     na verdade 80%
     do tempo que gastamos é
     somente pensando na solução e em como escrever o código em si.
     Porém quando trabalhamos em um projeto nosso,
     onde fazemos o frontend,
     backend e até
     modelamos a estrutura do banco,
     esse tempo para pensar na aplicação aumenta mais ainda.

     Ontem a noite eu fiz uma remodelação das estruturas que vamos utilizar no SquidSpace,
     eu não havia pensado muito bem quando fiz a primeira pock em como o usuário comum poderia de subscrever ao conteúdo de um influenciador dentro da plataforma,
     por isso eu tive que pensar nessa estrutura e fluxo antes de seguir.

     Agora com esse novo modelo de subscrição pronto e criado,
     só
     falta fazer a chamada ao GraphCMS para listar essa nova estrutura e criar a tela no app ;)
     .

     Hey Ya’ll!
     
     I’ve been busy lately,
     working on some questions from #leetcode and honestly,
     I feel so stupid lol.
     I’ve read on Twitter how some people were asked questions on their technical interviews and they didn’t know anything about it,
     but because they showed interest in learning and how to figure the question out,
     they got the job!
     Any tips for someone who just feels so dumb on easy algorithm questions 🥺
